Get to Know Brett

My recovery started in 2012. Since then I have spent over a decade in the behavioral health world in just about every role you can imagine. I have never left.

I work with addiction and unhealthy relationships with substances or behaviors because this population is unlike any other I have come across. Some of the most talented, creative, driven people I have ever met are people in recovery or working toward it. When the energy that once went into using, obtaining, and chasing gets pointed at something that actually matters there is no stopping them. I have seen it. It is real.

None of what brought you here was fair. And recovery is still yours to do.

For families, by the time most people reach out they are exhausted in ways that are hard to put into words. Confused. Carrying guilt and shame they were never supposed to be holding in the first place. And usually sitting on a lot of anger they feel too guilty to admit because they still love this person deeply.

Addiction shows up in every kind of family. Every background. Every zip code. You are not the exception and you are not to blame.

The hardest thing for most families is knowing where support ends and enabling begins. That line gets blurry fast when you are living inside it. Figuring that out together is part of the work.

The person struggling is one part of this. You are the other. You matter here too.

Let's Talk

Whether you are looking for support for yourself, trying to help someone you love, or exploring what working together could look like, reach out. No pressure, no commitment. Just a conversation.
